Début février 2022 a eu lieu aux Capucins à Brest le One Ocean Summit : le lien de l’évènement est ici. J’ai profité de la rediffusion de ces conférences pour réaliser plusieurs captations visuelles libres à l’aquarelle et en temps réel.
Une première table ronde sur la gouvernance des Océans et l’importance des alliances et de la coopération entre acteurs. Cette coopération, outil indispensable pour l’émergence d’un monde plus juste et équitable pour toutes et tous.
Puis, j’ai fait le choix de capter une seconde table ronde sur la place des femmes dans le milieu de l’Océanographie : “Women Voices for Ocean”

Back to the One Ocean Summit
Organized in the context of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union and with the support of the United Nations, the fifth edition of the One Planet Summit, entirely dedicated to the Ocean, was held in Brest from February 9 to 11, 2022.
The ocean covers more than 70% of the surface of our planet, is a regulator of the major environmental balances and in particular of the climate, a provider of food and energy resources, an important enabler of trade, as well as an essential link between countries and human communities. Yet, the Ocean still too often remains on the sidelines of the international and European agenda.
In order to preserve the vital services provided by the Ocean, and in the face of the increasing damage it is suffering (climate change, pollution, particularly from plastic, overexploitation of marine resources, etc.), it is urgent to strengthen political mobilization and to speed up the collective construction of tools for sustainable management of the Ocean.
